ARE WE READY FOR ARTIFICIAL WOMBS??

 These artificial wombs will prove useful in the situations when a baby is born premature and need more nourishment and time for developing.It is developed by the combined team of researchers from University of Western Australia and Tohoku University Hospital Japan.The Artificial womb consists of a biobag which has Amniotic fluid which the infants absorb as in a normal development.and there is a oxygenator from where the need of oxygen can be fullfilled. The heart pumps blood which flow through the umbilical cord and goes to oxygenator and comes back , in this way the blood gets oxygen.

 The researchers  used eight lamb fetuses that were  105 to 115 days old,a level comparable to the 23 weeks old human fetus. It was seen that their brain and organs  developed normally.The pinkish creatures opened their eyes ,they started fattening up and white wool grow on them.This experiment leads to the result  that the premature child can be developed in the Artificial womb.I know you will be thinking about the machines used in hospitals  in which the premature babies are put for more development.But I tell you that according to researchers,these machines demonstrate an arrest of lung development which results in the restriction of the lung function. But with the Artificial Womb Technology, the infants will grow without any restriction to lungs.
The developers of AWT(Artificial Womb Technology) certainly hope to move from tests on lambs to human babies.This technology will let women reproduce without risking their physical, economic and social well being.No time needed for dealing with pregnancy related complications.But, it will take a lot of time because not everybody is agree with it.As some are saying that psycological emotions ties between mother and baby will be lost if suddenly there will be no physical connection between the two. Some have  argued  that it is just unnatural .They are saying that it is  not the way God wants us to have babies All have their different opinions.
